Is there free parking nearby? Yes, there is! Our shop is located on a busier street towards the town center of Almelo. You can park for free and if you're lucky even directly in front of building. If not, at least within a short walking distance!
Reach us by trainAlso certainly possible and very easy! As soon as you walk off the platform of Almelo Central Station and keep right in the tunnel, walk back up the stairs and then walk with your back to the station into the Dijkstraat towards the traffic lights, cross to the Rohofstraat, continue until the end end of the Rohofstraat and then turn left; you're within 100 meters at our location. This is about a 5-10 minute walk!
Our own cycling routesDon't worry, you don't have to prepare anything when you rent from us. We have both the cycling routes of the local tourist office and our own routes! You're able to drive the routes from the tourist office using the signs and a paper brochure, our own routes work with a QR code that you can scan on your mobile phone.
We have something for everyone.. Historical routes , routes through nature, routes for children, long bike rides, short bike rides... They're all in stock! Ask at the counter, we will be happy to advise you.
What is the range of a battery?We always try to obtain the better quality batteries for our vehicles . With an electric bicycle you can cover between 60 and 80 kilometers before you are empty and with our electric scooters about 50 kilometers. We always provide a battery charger for longer trips so that you can always charge halfway during a break somewere.
Do you have phone cases?Yes, and you can use them use for free! Our phone cases are suitable for (almost) every mobile phone and they easily click on the handlebars. Very useful for when you would like to navigate with your mobile phone, as holding the phone on a bicycle is prohibited in the Netherlands. And yes, you can really use it for free!
Is there an excess?We apply an excess in the event of theft of the vehicles, namely 250.00 euros per vehicle. Part of this is deducted from the paid deposit of 100.00 euros. Do you plan to use the vehicles a lot to cycle to and from locations where you then leave them? Then we recommend renting an extra chain lock.
During the booking process, you can also choose to lower the deductible to 50.00 euros per vehicle for a payment of 5.00 euros. per vehicle, per booking. We call this collective insurance. We use this contribution from all bookings to reimburse the difference in excess in the event of theft of your vehicle.
We calculate the damage amount in the event of damage to the vehicle. In addition to bicycle rental, we also sell, maintain and repair bicycles. We calculate the damage amount and settle this with your deposit, with a maximum amount of 100.00 euros per booking. We will then refund the difference between the deposit and the damage amount.
