A full day in and around Almelo

Visiting our beautiful Almelo or just fancy an adventurous day with family? Thanks to our collaboration with Canoe Rental Almelo we have a great package to offer!

What can you expect?
Get on your bike at our location in Almelo or start from one of our rental partners. From here you will cycle a route through our beautiful Almelo and discover the history, nature and architecture! You will cycle this route with your phone; all you need is Google Maps and we will provide phone holders!

After your round on the bike you will continue with a round in a canoe. The cycle route ends at café België in the city center from where you walk to the harbor basin, also in the center (approximately 1-2 minutes walk). Here they will help you into the canoe and you will receive the route over the water. This route has a lot of variation; You will see both the built-up area and the nature around Almelo! The route ends again in the city center at café Belgium. Take a break and enjoy a moment of reflection. Then leave with the parked bikes back to the starting location of the day.

The total day takes about 3-5 hours, depending on which bike you rent (e-bike or regular bike), how advanced you are with the canoe and of course your own breaks. So you can be active all day long!

Please note; the canoe route includes a transfer point where you have to pull the canoe out of the water and lift it to the water next to it. This requires some strength and maneuverability. It is easy to do, but it may be good to know so that you are not surprised! The cost of this package is 24.50 euros per person. This includes a regular bike with three gears, a canoe, paddles, the routes and explanation. There are two- and three-person canoes. It is possible to choose other bikes for an additional fee; cycle the route with a more luxurious city bike, electric bike, tandem, cargo bike or fat bike!

Optionally, you can expand the package with a barbecue at the end point café Belgium. For this barbecue we charge 19.50 euros per person extra. You will then receive various types of meat, two salads, sauces and fresh baguette per person. Fancy a delicious barbecue afterwards? Then mention this in the comments!

If everything is OK, we will immediately send a payment request for your booking. After receiving a deposit (or, if desired, the entire amount) the booking is approved and final. Of course we'll let you know when this is the case!
